I cannot recommend PlaceDesign enough. What I loved more than anything was that John talked to us about how we lived, what we liked doing, and how we'd actually use the space. This really helped us to make sure it wasn't just a beautiful kitchen but a practical, usable one. What we have is quite unique and definitely the thing people talk about the most when they visit. I love our semi-circle breakfast bar and the way he's pulled in the rest of the house by extending the breakfast bar into the main room further than we initially thought we would. The kitchen should be the heart of the home and thanks to John it is.

It was a pleasure to work with John on the kitchen at our house in Kent. It was not a straightforward brief. We wanted to create a modern kitchen space for cooking and socialising but this is a very old higgledy-piggledy Georgian house with limited space to play with. John listened carefully to our needs, and together, we came up with a design and look and feel which is modern yet complements the style of the house perfectly. It really has transformed our use of the kitchen and made spending time in the house more enjoyable.
