Aldersbrook Grey

This dark blue and grey shaker style kitchen and utility room was designed for a family of 4 in a Victorian terraced house in Aldersbrook. The long dark blue island is actually a peninsula as the right hand end adjoins the external wall. This means the cooking area is kept quite separate from the breakfast bar side. It also means the Miele induction vented hob can be ducted out through the wall so removing grease and smells at source. The breakfast cupboard on the left hand side of the tall units is designed to be easy access from the breakfast bar and the LED lighting comes on automatically when the doors are opened. Calacatta Classico Modern quartz is used for the worktops in both the kitchen and the laundry room. It is also used for the splashback by the butler sink. Quite a classic and timeless look but also very practical. Miele appliances throughout also add longevity to the project. The pocket sliding doors on the laundry room mean it is easily closed off when need be.
